Mois Johnson is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in NM, IL, and CO. Her focus is providing help for those who are experiencing short or extended periods of sadness, loss of interest, irritability, excessive worry, mood changes, increased stress level, inability to focus, or sleep. Her medical journey began in 1991 as a Registered Nurse, then became a Family Nurse Practitioner after receiving a Master’s degree. After graduating she worked primarily in Urgent Care and Substance abuse clinics. Her experiences illustrated the gap between medical and psychiatric care, and how the mind/body connection is often ignored. These gaps in care encouraged Mois to pursue a post-master in psychiatric mental health from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL.
